Another Reader Question from Great Britain

I got a great question about the languages and accents in Nevermore. The question is: "Why is King Brian the only one with a distinctive accent in the book?"

That's a great question from someone who looked deeply into the story. The answer is actually pretty simple. Arthur, Kristen and Nate have a spell put on them to understand all the languages in Nevermore... Cammi, Dane and Liam are given a potion by Alira, so that they too can understand the languages. All of them just basically hear all those different languages in English. (American English...sorry Brits!) BUT... being from Ireland, King Brian already speaks English, just with an Irish accent, so they hear and understand him just as he already speaks.
